Farm Animals

The Veterinary Clinic, P.C. is proud to offer a wide range of veterinary services to large-animal owners in Jefferson County. We operate in a modern veterinary hospital that features a large-animal haul-in facility, and many procedures can be performed during "farm calls" right at your farm.

We provide routine vaccinations, reproduction-related calls (bovine artificial insemination, deliveries, prolapses, etc.), and complete treatment for sick animals. We regularly see and treat diseases and conditions such as respiratory diseases, dystocias, prolapses, pink eye, calf scours and lameness.

Equine Medical Care

The Veterinary Clinic, P.C. provides a wide range of veterinary care for your horse. We most commonly treat quarter horses, but often care for standardbreds, ponies, Icelandic horses, draft horses, and others. We recommend annual vaccinations and de-worming two-to-four times each year.

Basic castrations and laceration repair are the most common surgeries we perform. Additional conditions we treat include colic, lameness, respiratory disease, and others. We also float teeth and perform wolf teeth extractions.

Equine Vaccinations

Vaccinations are essential to keeping your equine companion healthy. We provide core vaccines for tetanus, rabies and West Nile Virus. We also offer vaccinations for Eastern/Western Equine Encephalitis, influenza and rhinopneumonitis.
